I was born to Mawson and Freda Pearson, the second of their four children. At the time of my birth Mawson was working as a Durham Miner. 
He didn’t like that work and was determined that his sons should not have ‘to go down the mine” so we all moved to the Midlands in the 1950s. I remained in the Midlands – Smethwick, Hagley, Bromsgrove, Birmingham and now the East Midlands on the borders of the shires of Derby/Leicester/Stafford and Nottingham.
Here is a very brief summary of my life to date:
1967-1994 Marriage to Graham Chidlow.
Two children: A son and daughter born in the early 70s and four delightful grandchildren.
1983-2005 Senior Counsellor for staff and students, Halesowen College.
MBAC/Accredited Counsellor to date.
UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor to date.
Lecturer/Course Leader Counselling Course Levels 2, 3 and 4 to 2005
Workshop leader for Stress Management, Assertiveness training, Anger Management.
1995 Divorce
1997-1999 Exploration of, and Diplomas in, alternative therapies: Swedish Massage,
Anatomy and Physiology, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage.
2002 Marriage to Robert
2005 Retirement from Halesowen College and start of life in two countries.
